The methodology incorporates a flotation simulation program “SUPASIM” which translates flotation performance from bench-scale tests to full-scale plant. To date, the successful simulation of 15 commercial flotation circuits treating platinum, base metal, cassiterite, graphite and phosphate ores as well as platinum and copper furnace slag has validated “SUPASIM”.
